Blog 5- VR & CoSpaces
Over the past few years, there has been a substantial increase in the adoption of digital technologies in education across all levels of academia. Virtual reality technology stands out as a prime illustration. According to McGovern (2020), Virtual reality, in essence, is a form of technology that utilizes interactive computer simulations to detect and respond to the movements and positions of the user. By replacing or enhancing sensory feedback, it creates an immersive experience that gives the user the sensation of being mentally present within the simulation. The use of virtual reality has the potential to create a simulated world that can be utilized for a variety of purposes such as training, education, and even social interaction in a completely imagined environment (Cvetković, 2021). Therefore, given the fact that VR has the potential to boost students' learning motivation and improve their skill set, also the utilization of virtual reality has been found to heighten students' levels of enjoyment and interest, as well as enhance their participation in educational endeavors (McGovern et al., 2020).

Limitations
The technology in question has certain drawbacks that must be taken into account, namely its cost and the amount of time it requires. Schools often face the challenge of managing their expenses, especially when it comes to subscriptions and devices. These costs can be quite significant, and the process of creating and coding content can be time-consuming for students. This can result in a loss of valuable class time.

Hi Yiwen, I really love your blog post! From your blog, I know VR is, and the examples you showed us in the first person made me more interested in learning about VR. I also liked your insight into CoSpaces Edu and how it can be used in the classroom to encourage students to collaborate with each other. Also, the limitation you suggested was a prominent analysis of its drawbacks. It would be great if you could identify the corresponding academic article to support the contribution of CoSpaces Edu in the classroom.

Hi Yiwen,
I was really engaged from start to finish of your blog post! The use of first person multimodal photos and videos are a great personal addition to grasp the perspective that you experienced which is quite evident through the blog. I would however have appreciated more research and studies to support your work as this would have been greatly beneficial to add. As well as, addressing some syllabus outcomes from NESA to the section of fostering creativity for students.

A great and interesting blog on VR and CoSpaces Edu Yiwen!
I enjoyed reading your blog and have definitely learned how the application can benefit a students learning and engagement. I also like how you listed limitations associated with the app as I believe it is important for teachers to take factors such as cost into consideration. I like how you included pictures from the tutorial of the VR headset and have provided a POV video from this technology, awesome! Although you mentioned that CoSpaces can be used to teach stage 4 science and geography, I really would have liked to see some explicit curriculum links and examples from CoSpaces that link to those curriculum outcomes. I would have also…
Fantastic evaluation of CoSpaces Edu Yiwen! I learned a lot from your analysis of Virtual Reality and CoSpaces Edu’s education potentials. My only feedback for you is to focus your post content on creativity, technology and education rather than adding details on the general applications of Virtual Reality in education. It would also be great if you can offer some elaboration on how your exemplary CoSpaces Edu creation tie into the curriculum applications of the program, which you have mentioned above the video.
